“Británico” Youth Orchestra in Peru

The British Cultural Center in Peru sponsors a resident youth orchestra in Lima with full scholarships for its members to study English through their language study programs. Having established a relationship with this orchestra in 2016, Rafael returned for a concert performance at the Municipal Theater of San Borja featuring the following repertoire:

Rafael was thrilled to perform his arrangement of the Costa Rican pasillo “Amor de Temporada” with the orchestra. The pasillo is closely related to the Peruvian Waltz and the audience was delighted at the cultural affinity between the two Latin American countries.
