Rafael is committed to bringing artists and institutions together. As a former naval officer and Annapolis graduate, Rafael believes in a model of success that is predicated on service to others. His own international experiences include as a performer and master teacher in Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, Colombia, Bolivia, Peru, Brazil, Romania, Bulgaria, and in the United States.

With partners throughout the Americas, Rafael works to bring colleagues together in different countries with the shared vision of bettering society through a humanistic approach to making music.
