Peru - FestiBandas!

Rafael was in Lima, Peru, giving concerts and master classes for the second annual FestiBandas from May 16 - 21, 2016. As the invited guest conductor, he had the opportunity to work with the Air Force Band of Peru, the Orquesta Sinfónica del Británico, and five bands and orchestras from local secondary schools. The week culminated in a final concert featuring all of the participating bands with Rafael conducting. This activity was sponsored by the Peruvian Association of Symphonic Band and Ensemble Directors (ASPEB - Asociación Peruana de Directores de Bandas Sinfónicas y Ensambles).
