Augsburg students in Peru!

Rafael led a delegation of music students from Augsburg University to perform with the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) Big Band and to participate as the ensemble-in-residence at Markham College, The British School in Lima culminating in a concert performance with their students. While in Lima, the Augsburg students also had the opportunity to play with the PUCP Symphonic Band, attend master classes at the National Conservatory, and receive lessons from conservatory professors. They also had visited archaeological sites in Cusco and Machu Picchu, as well historic sites around Lima including the 16th-century cathedral and the city’s historic catacombs.
