Rafael had the opportunity to conduct this orchestra during his return trip to Eastern Europe to conduct the Romanian National Opera Orchestra in Constanţa. Travel delays for the orchestra required a condensed rehearsal schedule, but Rafael impressed the orchestra members with his efficient management of the rehearsal time, attention to detail, and a warm and inviting sense of musicality. He hopes to be able to conduct this orchestra again!
